Resin and acrylic on canvas
60 x 60 “ | 155 x 155 cm
This large-scale work expands the visual language of Rising Soul through depth, elevation, and physical release. Against a restrained surface, resin butterfly silhouettes emerge with quiet force. In one corner, three butterflies lift from the canvas, their forms breaking free from the flat plane as their wings extend beyond the canvas edge.
The elevated elements introduce real shadow and movement, transforming the artwork from image to presence. By surpassing the limits of the canvas, the butterflies suggest a moment of transition—when inner transformation becomes outward motion.
While rooted in stillness, the work holds tension between containment and expansion. It reflects the point at which growth can no longer remain internal, and the soul begins to rise—crossing boundaries, claiming space, and continuing beyond what once defined it.
