In Between explores the suspended moment when the soul exists between states—no longer where it was, not yet where it will arrive. Composed as a monochromatic black quadriptych, the work unfolds across four panels, allowing resin butterflies to move freely from one surface to another, dissolving the boundaries between them.
The deep black palette creates a space of silence and introspection, where form, shadow, and movement become the primary language. The large butterflies sculptures that rise from the canvas, casting shifting shadows as they travel across planes, embodying transition, passage, and quiet transformation.
Rather than depicting arrival or departure, In Between holds the viewer in a space of uncertainty, surrender, and becoming—where the soul moves gently between planes, carried by motion rather than destination.
