In Between Blues explores the suspended moment when the soul exists between states—no longer where it was, not yet where it will arrive. Composed as duo tone blue-black quadriptych, the work unfolds across four panels, allowing resin butterflies to move freely from one surface to another.
The electric blue and deep black palette reflects a state of contrasting and bold feelings. The large butterflies sculptures that rise from the canvas, casting shadows as they travel across planes, embodying transition, and transformation.
Rather than depicting arrival or departure, In Between holds the viewer in a space of uncertainty, surrender, and becoming—where the soul moves between planes, carried by motion rather than destination.
